Telling it like it is

A quick pre-lunch ski day today - there's supposed to be a storm blowing in this afternoon. The weather up on top was bloody windy - it was low visibility because of wind-driven snow on Summit, but the skiing was great. Not powder, not hard - corduroy with about half an inch of powder on top - right in my comfort zone again.

Here's something you don't see every day in Salt Lake City - a brand new Jaguar XKR. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

I have a particular dislike of companies that force you to buy the same thing over and over again. For example I just upgraded my phone from a Blackjack to a Blackjack 2 - same company, largely the same phone but with one critical difference. The proprietary adapter is 0.5mm wider so my car charger and headphone adapter now don't fit. I have to buy new ones. Still - I'll buy JavoEdge items instead of Samsung official items. That way they don't get their expected moneygrab from accessories. It's sort of like George Lucas re-releasing the Star Wars films a bazillion different times.
