Trouble in the middle east.

"President" B*sh yesterday extended all active military duties to 2034, on top of cutting vet benefits etc. He's doing the backdoor draft. Meanwhile he continues to be totally blind to the Grade-A royal shitstorm he's created in the middle east. The Tehran bombing yesterday could have been one of 4 or 5 suspects. America has already blamed Syria and is pulling all its diplomats out. Well - they didn't wait for a weapons inspector report on Iraq so why bother waiting to find out if Syria was behind the Tehran bombing? F*ck it - just bomb them anyway. Iran has stepped up and said it will support Syria "in any way necessary" should the US get aggressive.

Meanwhile, B*sh has pissed off North Korea by again refusing to get into nuclear disarmament talks with them, and is continuing to spy on Iran's nuclear capabilites. Israel waded into the fray this morning and said Iran was only 6 months away from having the bomb. That sounds like the "imminent danger" we were all lied to about just before invading Iraq.

The way things are going, tax problems, Dory and her collar, and the state of my job look like they're going to be pretty insignificant in a couple of months time. I predict that B*sh is going to overrule the house and senate, invade Iran, Syria and North Korea, bring in mandatory draft, and start a nuclear war before Christmas. Of course he'll blame anyone but himself. The lying warmongering beserker needs to be removed from power right now before he damns the entire planet to certain destruction.

Look - I understand that mormons think gays are somehow evil, subhumans. I understand that the LDS won't tolerate gays, doesn't like them and thus won't marry them. But for local government to overturn a supreme court ruling about gay marriage is taking it too far. This is religious persecution on a par with the dark ages. The church doesn't like gays, so it leans on its members in government to do everything possible to prevent them from having the basic rights afforded other couples who want to marry. Employees don't want much

I'm sitting looking at my company's internal 'learning' system this morning - hundreds of online courses that are available to all employees, some of which we're mandated to take. I'm not sure why the rest of them exist. We certainly don't have time to do any of the courses, and for the average employee, they hold no relevance to what we do, or want to do in our day-to-day jobs. I for one just want to be assigned tasks, and then be left alone. I don't need to do hazardous material training - my job doesn't involve hazardous materials. I don't need micromanagement. I don't need all the various efficiency and ethics courses that are available because I have common sense. I don't need to be instructed how to use the email system, nor how 'just in time' manufacturing is good for the company (it has no bearing on our division). Ok I understand all of this is corporate C-Y-A but so many of these things are just inconsequential to us. On
