B*sh and the grenade.
It's been funny watching the US press spinning the story from last week about the grenade thrown at B*sh during a public speech in Georgia (Russia, not America).
Whereas Reuters, CBC and the BBC all reported "Grenade thrown at B*sh during speech", this is the progression of the news / spin in America:
"Child's toy grenade found in crowd at B*sh speech"
"Replica grenade found in crowd at B*sh speech"
"Army surplus grenade with no fuse found in crowd at B*sh speech"
"Live army surplus grenade found in crowd at B*sh speech"
"Live grenade found in crowd at B*sh speech"
"Grenade thrown at B*sh during speech"
It's laughable. What's so tragic is that so many people won't see the problem with this sort of spin.
