Got the car back.

Well I finally got the car back today. For all the work they've not
been able to figure out the source of the noise so it must be behind
the dash. I'll live with it and do my own investigation in the next
few weeks. Either way I'm much less upset now I have it back.

Once I had sorta same issue with my Audi A6. All stared with shock absorbers change. Had very dead shocks in it. Bought couple of new ones for front. Some regular brand, not pricey. Changed, but some of bad rattling sounds in front right continued. Changed some other parts. No luck. Later same garage took it seriously and found that right side shock has bad spot where it acted like dead shock, like empty, with missing oil. Changed under warranty, put another in, no more rattling.
